Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on controllership for US-based clients
• 3-5 years of experience with NetSuite ERP is mandatory
• Expertise in Bill.com for accounts payable/receivable and workflow automation
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and related financial reporting requirements
• Exceptional communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
• Experience managing high-growth, complex accounting environments
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational accounting functions, optimizing team performance
• Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate reporting
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead client-facing interactions, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to deadlines
• Perform variance analyses, profit margin analyses, and substantiation of balance sheet accounts
• Manage controllership functions, including cash flow management and financial audits for US clients
• Research and document technical accounting issues, providing solutions aligned with US GAAP
• Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations and drive system integrations
• Streamline payment workflows using Bill.com and other automation tools
• Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to provide strategic financial insights
