Summary

Join Foodsmart's Finance team as their Controller and lead all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, lead the budgeting process, ensure compliance with GAAP and regulations, implement internal controls, and mentor the finance team. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA or equivalent certification (preferred), 7+ years of experience (including 2+ years in management), and expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, with proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
• A proven track record of effective financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Lead the budgeting process and collaborate with the FP&A team to develop financial forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards while managing annual audits
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and monitor cash flow to meet operational needs
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience in healthcare or a related sector, particularly with Revenue Cycle Management (claims)
