- Full understanding of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
- Understanding of how to handle M&A Activities, such as Opening/Closing Balance Sheet Preparations, Earnouts, and NWC
- Proactive and efficient
- Strong FP&A skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written
- Proficient in Excel (must be able to create advanced formulas)
- Must have a strong ability to be able to analysis a P&L statement and Balance Sheet
Responsibilities
- Ensure monthly financials are distributed timely and accurately, while keeping up with the continuous changing tasks of the month month-end close process
- Recommend improvements to the month-end close processes as needed
- Assist in handling the day-to-day operations, ensuring all basic accounting functions are being performed properly
- Approve various account reconciliations and assist in resolving any discrepancies timely
- Analyze financial reports pre-close and post-close to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes
- Coordinate Intercompany Transactions
- Assist in various internal and external Audit Requests
- Assist M3’s Tax Partner on Federal/State Tax preparation and payments
- Assist in the commission and bonus process
- Ensure all Tax filings are filed properly
- Oversee Business Compliance/Registrations
- Perform monthly and ad-hoc reports to the executive team as needed
- Oversee Budgets for select business units
- Prepare forecasts for select business units and prepare company-wide Forecast Summaries
- Recommend and develop improvements to the accounting systems and processes
- Maintain Process and Procedure Documents
- Oversee Company-Wide Business Insurance plan
- Handle all M&A duties
- Oversee Concur Functions
- Collaborate with SVP of Finance to develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day Finance operational systems and processes and provide the SVP with visibility into the progress and obstacles of key initiatives
- Analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure the success of the assigned initiatives and monitor that all projects are executed effectively. Deliver monthly reports and flag key areas of improvement, while helping with corrective decisions to improve the Finance department’s performance
- Manage special projects, monitor the implementation of organizational projects and balance project requirements, risks, and opportunities with executable strategies to meet timelines and deliverables
- In implementing new initiatives, act as the liaison within the organization and collaborate regularly with all stakeholders to share changes
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA a plus
- Familiarity with NetSuite highly recommended
- Experience with Procurify (or like systems), FP&A software’s, and Concur a plus
