Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Possess 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in SaaS or technology companies
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Have experience with SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606) and subscription-based business models
  • Showcase hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems)
  • Exhibit a proven ability to implement process improvements and scalable accounting practices
  • Possess excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Have experience managing audits and tax compliance processes

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and tax
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Manage tax compliance and regulatory reporting
  • Support financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Optimize accounting systems and processes for scalability
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners as needed
