Requirements
- 8+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
- Advanced user of Excel
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients, teams, and stakeholders
- Keep internal and external parties informed about progress and expected outcomes
- Guide and motivate team members
- Manage conflicts and foster a collaborative environment
- Build trust in client relationships through professionalism and confidence
- Prepare for and ensure a smooth audit process for clients
- Prepare support schedules for audits
- Think strategically, providing insights that align with client objectives and long-term goals
- Guide clients through operational, technological, or strategic changes
- Develop and implement clear plans for change management, considering all stakeholders
- Demonstrate the impact of recommendations and solutions
- Measure outcomes and link them to client success
- Address resistance, communication hurdles, and implementation issues during organizational changes
- Manage complex engagements effectively, balancing team and client needs
- Mentor team members and help them grow in their capabilities
- Contribute to firm initiatives and business development
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in higher education accounting
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Client service experience
- Mix of public and private accounting experience
- CPA, CMA or MBA designation

- A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is up to $130,000 to $160,000 annually with bonus potential depending on experience
