Corporate Engineering Intern

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program
• Student entering the fall semester as a junior or senior preferred
• Preferred focus on Engineering
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, or higher
• Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

• Assist corporate engineering in capital plan development, annual business plan and long-range capital planning
• Assist corporate engineering in the development of lifecycle programs, standards and best practices related to project management activities
• Assist corporate engineering team members with project management responsibilities using the PMO365 capital management program
• Work collaboratively with corporate engineering, site engineering and maintenance team members, OEM technicians and operating department personnel
• Demonstrate effective communication through sharing project information and progress with all key stakeholders via status/progress meetings
• Maintains equipment documentation, facility schematics and P&ID drawings
• Document improvements, share knowledge and demonstrate leadership skills by teaching technicians and operators as needed
• Participates in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
