Requirements
- Exceptional writing, editing, verbal, and visual organizational skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in crisp, concise communications
- 5+ years of experience in content development, executive communications, brand messaging, or presentation development
- Experience in B2B enterprise tech and emerging tech, with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them for various audiences
- Trusted by executive leaders and cross-functional teams, balancing proactive guidance and strategy with flawless delivery
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive processes across multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders
- Methodical approach to content version control and project management
- Deep attention to detail and an editorial mindset
- Familiarity with tools like Google Slides, PowerPoint, Asana, Bynder; visual storytelling experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with speakers, executives, and content owners to craft narratives that reflect both individual voice and Neo4jβs broader messaging
- Translates complex technical concepts and business strategy into accessible, compelling stories for diverse audiences
- Serves as the primary storytelling partner for C-level and senior leadership, helping translate vision into high-impact narratives
- Ensures topline corporate messaging is threaded through all content β from keynote slides to campaign narratives to foundational pages like βAbout Usβ
- Connects technical details to broader brand and business positioning
- Provides messaging feedback across presentations and core brand content
- Partners cross-functionally to source proof points, customer stories, and technical depth that reinforce narrative arcs
- Establishes and manages clear workflows between speakers, content owners, marketing teams, and design resources
- Drives adherence to timelines with clearly defined SLAs and milestones such as first-draft and final-draft check-ins
- Oversees version control and ensures consistency across formats (ex: Google Slides, PowerPoint)
- Reviews content for messaging consistency, editorial voice and tone, and brand alignment
- Partners with creative teams to brainstorm and recommend visual imagery that reinforces key messages and elevates content narratives
- Creates reusable content frameworks and/or templates that maintain quality and increase efficiency
- Serves as an integrated part of Neo4j's Content Marketing Team
- Collaborates with Events, Product Marketing, Communications, and Creative teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels
- Partners with Product Marketing and Technical teams to ensure accuracy of content while maintaining narrative flow
- Works with Event Marketing to align presentation content with overall event strategy
- Provides messaging QA on brand and campaign deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic positioning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in database, cloud, or enterprise software industries
- Understanding of graph technology concepts or prior experience with Neo4j
- Background in technical writing, developer relations, or technical marketing
- Experience with presentation design principles and tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Bynder, Asana)
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
