Summary

Join Western Digital, a global technology leader, as a Finance professional within the Operations team. Collaborate with senior executives and management, managing all aspects of spending for the Wafer organization. Analyze financial results, provide variance analysis, and prepare executive presentations. Contribute to process enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 5-7 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as a trusted advisor and business partner within the Operations team, including interacting with senior executives and their respective management teams
  • Manage all aspects of spending for the Wafer organization, including but not limited to, expense and capital management, rolling 8 quarter forecast, monthly re-commit, variance analysis, monthly close and management reporting
  • Analyze financial results, trends, performance metrics, and provide variance/root cause analysis to support management investment decisions
  • Prepare executive presentations to review results and forecasts with management and business partners
  • Collaborate and Consolidate with operations to deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly LOH and absorption review
  • Focus on process enhancements, harmonization and continuous improvement
  • Support ad hoc initiatives and business cases
