PMO Manager

Requirements

• Lead in a matrix reporting structure to accomplish objectives by collaborating with internal partners and leadership
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, such as PMBOK and Agile
• Possess knowledge of the organization's industry, market dynamics, competitors, and strategic objectives
• Understand budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis related to project and portfolio management
• Be proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues
• Participate in SOW/RFPs as needed
• Adapt to changing project dynamics, technologies, and market conditions
• Be willing to explore innovative project management approaches and technologies
• Possess at least 2 of the following certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification, Microsoft Project 2016/2019 Certification
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business or technology or equivalent experience
• Have five (5) or more years of managerial experience in a PMO environment and broad technology expertise

Responsibilities

• Develop and align the PMO strategy with the organization's business goals and objectives
• Establish and maintain PMO governance processes and monitoring
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of project managers, analysts, and other PMO staff
• Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans for projects
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the PMO and projects
• Manage with compassion, vision, and unity
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
