Requirements
- Proven track record in acquisition marketing, with ownership of P&L and growth targets
- Experience localizing global marketing campaigns, with strong knowledge of local markets
- Ability to identify and build partnerships that drive consumer growth and retention
- Strong media relations skills, with experience managing press and public relations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional relationships
- Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimize marketing strategies
- Deep understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and communications
Responsibilities
- Own the growth targets for user acquisition and contribute to the P&L for your market with the CMO
- Design, implement, and optimize strategies to drive user growth, ensuring efficient and effective marketing spend
- Analyze local market performance, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI and meet market-specific goals
- Develop and execute local marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and market share
- Partner with central marketing teams to adapt global campaigns for local relevance, ensuring campaigns resonate with local audiences and address specific market needs
- Measure and report the effectiveness of campaigns, continuously improving strategies for greater impact
- Lead the localization of global brand initiatives, adapting messaging and positioning to fit the local cultural, social, and market context
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing channels while maintaining a strong alignment with global brand guidelines
- Collaborate closely with the global marketing team to drive cohesive messaging
- Identify and establish new local companies, organizations and brand partnerships (discounts, perks, and collaborations) that not only drive an acquisition uplift but also enhance Ecosia's attractiveness and retention
- Develop co-marketing initiatives with partners that increase Ecosia’s visibility and appeal in the local market
- Continuously evaluate the success of local partnership initiatives, adjusting as necessary to meet growth objectives
- Serve as the public face of Ecosia in your local market, representing the brand in media engagements, interviews, events, social media and public forums
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to drive positive coverage and raise Ecosia’s profile
- Work with the global brand and communications team to incorporate social presence in local countries, press inquiries, craft press releases, and deliver compelling narratives about Ecosia’s mission and impact
