Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a people manager role within the creative or advertising industries, ideally specializing in digital executions or creative resourcing
  • Proven track record of managing creative teams and delivering successful projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team, while mentoring and developing team members’ skills
  • Possess a curious and analytical mindset with proficiency in project management software and digital advertising platforms, enabling data-driven decisions to optimize production processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the programmatic and advertising industries, technologies, and processes
  • Proven experience managing client and vendor relationships
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and senior management

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of creative professionals including graphic designers, motion designers, developers, and other creative roles
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews
  • Effectively forecasting, allocating, and monitoring staff resources based on skills, interests, and workload to ensure all projects are completed on time, on spec, and to the highest quality
  • Overseeing and proactively improving workflows for briefing, creative development, resourcing, scheduling, quality control, reviews, sign-off, and asset delivery
  • Oversee and streamline communication, manage rush requests, and handle escalations for a high-volume creative team, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project completion
  • Sourcing, evaluating, negotiating rates, and managing vendors to fulfill production needs or expand services
  • Monitor and motivate through the impact of change initiatives and adjust strategies as needed
