Summary
Join The VA Group's fast-growing team as a Group Creative Team Manager! This hands-on leadership role involves mentoring a team of creatives, managing the content pipeline, and ensuring high-quality, on-brand creative output. You will oversee all creative content, collaborate with other departments, and manage project timelines. The position offers a growth-oriented culture, creative leadership autonomy, and a fully virtual work environment. A sign-on bonus and client selection spiff are also offered. Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a creative leadership or management role
- Strong understanding of graphic design, video production, and content writing principles
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with creative software and project management tools
- A passion for coaching and developing creative talent with the ability to provide constructive feedback and inspire a team
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of graphic designers, video editors, and content writers
- Conduct weekly training and mentoring sessions to develop team skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to ensure all creative professionals meet performance goals
- Review and approve all creative output, including graphics, videos, and written content, before it's published on social media or our website
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and quality standards
- Oversee content for the main TVAG pages, recruitment pages, and all 1% podcast episodes
- Manage and prioritize all creative requests from other departments, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely delivery
- Review homework assignments from Visual Assistant candidates, determining whether they pass or fail based on established criteria
- Provide detailed feedback on candidate homework to the VA Acquisition Team to help inform their hiring decisions
- Facilitate a weekly prioritization call to align on goals and tasks for the week ahead
- Lead a weekly recap call to review progress, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement
- Manage project timelines and resource allocation to ensure deadlines are met efficiently
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop creative strategies and content calendars
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to keep our content innovative and engaging
