You will act as a key point of contact for providers and payors, managing application workflows and ensuring accurate provider information. Responsibilities

  • Act as the credentialing point of contact for assigned providers and insurance payors, including Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial plans
  • Prepare, submit, and track credentialing applications using systems such as PECOS, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Perform primary source verification for licenses, certifications, and other required credentials
  • Assist providers with their CAQH profiles to ensure all required information is present for their credentialing application
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve provider or payor issues and remove barriers to credentialing
  • Maintain up-to-date records for provider demographics, licensure, and payor participation status
  • Communicate clearly with providers and partners via phone, email, and text throughout the credentialing process
  • Partner with external payors to proactively address delays or missing information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Credentialing for Medicare providers, including use of PECOS
  • Hands-on experience with primary source verification
