Summary

Zyte is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead the technical direction of their company, which specializes in web data extraction and delivery. The ideal candidate should have experience in scaling companies with deeply technical products, strong strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and knowledge of modern software development practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role within a scaling company, preferably with a deeply technical product
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals
• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and mentorship skills, with a track record of managing and scaling technical teams
• Comfortable with public speaking and experienced in presenting to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
• In-depth knowledge of modern software development practices, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, AI/ML and other relevant technologies

Responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering, research and development, and IT teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that align with business needs and market demands
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to shape strategy, drive initiatives, and ensure technology investments align with business objectives
• Ensure Zyte’s systems deliver excellent performance when collecting data from changing websites and under increasing customer workloads
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively internally and externally and represent the company as a thought leader
