Summary
Join Impossible Foods' Sales Team as a Culinary Specialist, partnering with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to expand customer opportunities. You will build relationships with customer Innovation and Operations teams, showcasing Impossible products through trend-forward applications and solutions. This role requires strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and effective communication. The position involves presenting products via demonstrations, aligning operator concepts with product vision, and providing culinary solutions. Up to 50% travel is required for customer meetings and industry events. This remote role offers a competitive salary, equity, benefits, and a bonus plan.
Requirements
- Have 5-7+ years of technical experience in kitchens, working with large restaurant operators, and crafting customized technical culinary solutions
- Possess a genuine interest and passion for Impossible Food's mission
- Have the ability to present Impossible products effectively through culinary demonstrations and presentations
- Demonstrate success in working independently and navigating a constantly evolving, high-growth environment
Responsibilities
- Act as a culinary liaison, bridging Impossible Foods with top food service customers
- Present products through trend-driven demonstrations
- Align operator concepts with product vision
- Communicate customer needs internally and externally
- Provide culinary solutions
- Support troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Product, Manufacturing, Sales) to develop the best offerings
- Utilize third-party data to analyze market, customer, and category trends to drive strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Have recent experience or a vested interest in growing a brand and pioneering culinary sales
- Possess a background that includes experience with both large and small manufacturers
- Demonstrate strong creative and critical thinking skills
- Have the ability to quickly learn new concepts
- Possess a proactive approach to solving complex problems
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills
- Have the ability to drive projects to completion with minimal direction, ensuring attention to detail and a willingness to dive deep when necessary
- Possess a growth mindsetโbe curious, open to feedback, and able to turn setbacks into opportunities for improvement
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with a bias towards action, strong decision-making skills, and the resilience to persevere in challenging situations
- Have a highly collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across various functions, including Sales, R&D, Product, and Operations
