Travel Specialist

Summary

Join Ventura TRAVEL, a group of specialized travel brands, as a Travel Specialist to inspire German-speaking customers to explore the Mediterranean. You will create and sell high-quality group trips, oversee smooth trip preparation and follow-up, and provide excellent customer service in German. This role requires a passion for the Mediterranean, strong sales skills, and fluency in German and English. You will be responsible for various tasks, including selling trips, presenting travel products, guiding travelers, creating website content, coordinating reservations, negotiating with service providers, and developing new products. Requirements

• Possess a passion for customer service and sales
• Have native-level oral and written German (at least C1)
• Have fluent oral and written English
• Be passionate about the Mediterranean and have travel experience there
• Be a positive and calm person who enjoys working with colleagues

Responsibilities

• Sell travel adventures to customers over the phone and by email
• Present travel products, mainly on the company website
• Guide travelers before and after their trips via phone and email
• Create and translate German content for the website
• Coordinate reservations with local service providers
• Negotiate services and prices with local service providers to secure the best deals
• Develop new travel products from scratch
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Have knowledge of Greek, Italian, Spanish, and/or Portuguese
• Have experience in the tourism industry, especially as a tour operator
• Have living and working experience in one of the company's travel destinations
• Possess software skills
