Summary

Join Pleo's newly formed Customer Due Diligence Support team in Portugal as a proactive and detail-oriented CDD Support Specialist. You will be a key link between the onboarding team, internal stakeholders, and customers, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while navigating customer due diligence. This role offers the chance to shape processes, drive improvements, and contribute to a dynamic FinTech environment. You will handle customer queries, resolve issues, perform customer screenings, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of FinTech customer support experience, KYC/CDD knowledge, and stellar communication skills.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of proven experience in FinTech customer support
  • Hands-on exposure to KYC/CDD requirements inclusive but not limited to, screening of customers, requests for information and internal risk assessments
  • Knowledge of KYC requirements and industry best practices
  • Stellar communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer queries with care, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure timely, top-notch resolutions
  • Demonstrate best practices in every interaction, setting a high standard for excellence
  • Assist the team during peak periods to meet service level agreements seamlessly
  • Perform ongoing screening of existing business and individual customers, as well as payments, ensuring compliance and vigilance

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant qualifications or certifications in customer service or KYC are a plus
