Summary

Join ezCater, the leading food for work technology company in the US, as a Customer Insights Manager. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand corporate account clients, define and lead research studies, and transform customer learnings into actionable insights critical to business success.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience: 5+ years conducting research, preferably for a B2B, digital-first company and/or an online marketplace
  • Proven track record of taking research data and transforming it into actionable insights that drive real decisions and business impact
  • Experience with all aspects of the research process: study design, recruitment, moderation, questionnaire design, analysis, reporting, and executive presentations
  • Experience managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods: surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, diary studies, field research, brand tracking, etc
  • Storytelling and communication: Strong storytelling skills and ability to create compelling narratives and frameworks
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • A bias for action and experimentation: β€œTry it and track it” is a key tenet of ezCater culture

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify research needs and develop research plans
  • Organize, conduct, and report on primary customer research and market research
  • Assess and manage external research vendors as needed
  • Synthesize, summarize, and devise actionable strategies from customer insights
  • Present relevant insights to a variety of stakeholders and partners at all levels
  • Make substantive recommendations regarding ezCater marketing, messaging, products and service experience
  • Be a corporate customer advocate, representing their needs in business decisions
  • Deeply understand our corporate customers, market, and product
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Director or Customer Insights to: Own corporate customer research roadmap, including planning & execution, Guide industry trend and thought leadership research, Moderate customer interviews, Analyze quantitative survey and transactional data
  • Contribute to an internal research repository
  • Collaborate with peers in UX Research and Research Operations
