Customer Service Representative

Summary

Join GoNetspeed's Customer Operations team as a Customer Service/Sales Representative in Phelps, NY (remote options available). This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service and support to residential and commercial clients via phone, email, and chat. You will be responsible for meeting monthly sales goals, participating in outbound calling campaigns, and handling billing inquiries. The ideal candidate possesses two years of relevant experience, an associate's degree (or equivalent), and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Requirements

• Two years of experience in direct or related industry
• Associate's degree in business or a combination of education and experience
• Ability to interact with complex database and management systems supporting customers
• Ability to work in an office environment that is sometimes busy and with a moderate level of noise
• Ability to sit or stand for extended time frames
• Ability to use office equipment, phone, computer, copier etc
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service for all customers (residential and commercial)
• Meet monthly sales goal and quota
• Participate in outbound calling campaigns to boost incoming revenue
• Engage in sales/transitions and other revenue generating activities
• Utilize strong telecommunications skills to balance multiple, complex, and time-sensitive duties
• Handle challenging interpersonal situations with flexibility to create positive change
• Demonstrate strong face-to-face, written, and verbal communication skills
• Diffuse difficult customer situations
• Handle billing related situations
