Summary
Join Summer, a Certified B Corpยฎ tackling student debt, as a Member Success Team member. You will directly assist users in navigating Summerโs tools and enrolling in federal programs. This role involves using computers for chat, email, and video calls. You'll become an expert in student loans, serving as the first point of contact for users. The position is temporary, full-time, and remote (US-based). The salary is $45,000-$55,000 annually, prorated, plus overtime and benefits. Requirements
- At least one year of relevant work experience
- Fast learner : You have demonstrated experience in quickly mastering new skills and knowledge areas
- Clear communicator : You can field questions from users with empathy, tact, and clarity
- Detail oriented : You can understand and communicate complex program requirements; you can capably manage internal systems and processes
- Excellent teammate : You collaborate with and support your teammates; you clearly communicate capacity and expectations
Responsibilities
- Engage with users via email, live chat and text within our service level agreements
- Review and submit applications for federal loan programs
- Understand Summer's product offerings and how they address borrowers' needs
- Proactively suggest ideas and automations that can help scale the team
- Collaborate with the Member Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals in line with our social mission
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support is preferred
