Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of cyber security experience, focusing on vulnerability management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of cloud security and how it relates to vulnerability management
- Strong understanding of application security and security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7)
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans on Feeld systems, and applications to identify security weaknesses
- Analyse and prioritise vulnerabilities based on risk assessments, potential impact, and exploitability
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure timely security patches and updates are implemented
- Monitor and evaluate emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, providing actionable insights to strengthen our security posture
- Maintain and update documentation related to vulnerability management processes, findings, and remediation efforts
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress and effectiveness
- Generate and present reports on vulnerability status, trends, and remediation efforts to management and stakeholders
- Assist in the development of security policies, guidelines, and best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Participate in incident response activities and provide analysis in case of security breaches or incidents
