Summary
Join Alliance Animal Health as a Data Analyst and contribute to a fast-growing Veterinarian Service Organization. Reporting to the Data Analytics Manager, you will build, automate, and scale reporting infrastructure, supporting leadership and various teams with actionable insights. You will work with data in Amazon S3 and manage the Tableau ecosystem, requiring strong SQL, Excel, and Python skills. The ideal candidate possesses experience across the data ecosystem, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at translating data insights into business recommendations. This is a remote role, requiring EST time zone comfort.
Requirements
- 2β4 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)
- Proficient in Python for data analysis, automation, or scripting
- Advanced Tableau skillsβable to build complex, interactive dashboards and manage multiple data sources
- Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses (S3, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and clarity
Responsibilities
- Work with the Data Analytics manager to develop, automate, and scale reports and dashboards using data from our Redshift warehouse
- Own and manage the Tableau ecosystem, including dashboard creation, data source management, and administrative governance
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets
- Use Python for data wrangling, automation, and exploratory analysis as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions
- Support ongoing reporting needs for key departments such as operations, marketing, strategy, and finance
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all reporting tools
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
- Document data definitions, processes, and technical solutions for team knowledge-sharing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a multi-unit environment a plus
