Summary
Join Medely, a high-growth technology startup, as a Senior Data Analyst to leverage data for impactful product and business decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Recruiting, to create analyses and data stories that drive business growth. You will build compelling dashboards, present findings to stakeholders, and deliver ad-hoc analyses. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced SQL proficiency, and experience with business intelligence tools. Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, statistics, data science, consulting, or other relevant field
- Strong understanding of databases and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Metabase etc.)
- Advanced SQL skills and ability to write well-optimized queries
- Ability to organize and present complex data to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data
- Ability to analyze data and condense data to tell a persuasive story
Responsibilities
- Work closely with teams to provide data-driven insights that will help drive a significant increase in core business KPIs (growth, revenue, engagement)
- Create compelling internal dashboards to monitor the health of the product and business KPIs (growth, revenue, engagement)
- Present and articulate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business needs, investigate, triage, and resolve metrics-based issues without heavy guidance
- Review current processes and spot potential opportunities for improvement via reporting or automation
- Look for opportunities to automate insights through alerting and anomaly detection
- Identify areas short of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
