Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 2 - 3 years experience as a Data Analyst in the healthcare sector, with a focus on care processes and/or business operations
  • Understanding of basic healthcare codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Advanced Excel)
  • Proficiency in EDA and visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Quicksight)
  • Strong understanding of healthcare metrics, operational assessments, and process improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy standards, such as HIPAA
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly

Responsibilities

  • Analyze healthcare data to evaluate care management operations, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing workflows
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that visualize operational performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to gather requirements and define relevant metrics for evaluating care and business operations
  • Complete analysis projects, including assembling datasets, cleaning, EDA, and interpretation, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Communicate insights and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS services and EHR data
  • Experience with Salesforce schemas
  • Experience with Python
