Summary
Join Roadsurfer as a Data Analyst and contribute to data-driven decision making across the company. You will work with various departments to collect, analyze, and interpret data, uncovering trends and identifying opportunities for improvement. Your insights will support strategic initiatives and drive smarter business decisions. You will be part of a collaborative analytics team where curiosity and experimentation are encouraged.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed your bachelor's degree , preferably in engineering, physics, informatics, computer science or other STEM-related fields
- You have more than 3 years of relevant experience as a data analyst , especially with operational and business analysis
- You have the ability to work effectively with people at all levels and from all different areas of the organisation , empowering them with data and insights
- You have excellent analytical and communication skills and can present your findings in a practicalย and actionable way to ensure that your insights are applied by the company
- You have advanced proficiency in SQL code and visualisation tools (PowerBI and Metabase are a plus)
- You are fluent in business English
Responsibilities
- Analyze data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that support business goals
- Help teams define, track, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Design and maintain dashboards in tools such as Power BI and Metabase
- Ensure reports are intuitive, reliable, and tailored to stakeholder needs
- Automate recurring reporting processes where possible
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience to support their data needs
- Understand business questions and translate them into structured analyses
- Support teams in using data to make informed decisions
- Validate data sources and outputs to ensure high data integrity
- Identify data inconsistencies and work with engineering or data teams to resolve issues
- Implement and champion data-driven practices across the company
- Provide training and support to team members on how to leverage data in their daily work
- Encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing around data to foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement
- Promote the use of data tools and ensure that teams understand how to use data to drive business outcomes
- Contribute to company-wide analytics initiatives such as segmentation, forecasting, cohort analysis, and experimentation
- Assist in building and interpreting models that inform business planning and strategy
