Summary
Join Veeva Systems, a leading life sciences industry cloud company, as a Data Analyst on the Veeva Link product team. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a data governance framework, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in data analysis or data quality role
- Strong technical skills in data analysis, with proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience in data storage and processing on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience writing process documentation and data collection guidelines
Responsibilities
- Implement a data governance framework
- Establish and maintain robust processes for tracking and assessing data quality
- Develop automated checks to proactively detect data inconsistencies
- Apply statistical techniques to enhance data quality
- Create customized reports and dashboards
- Extract data from databases (e.g., Redshift, MongoDB)
- Identify and resolve root causes of quality issues
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams of product managers, engineering, and operations
- Create and maintain documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in medicine or life sciences
- Understanding of healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry data
- Experience with data visualization tools to create dashboards and reports
- Understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines)
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Apache Airflow
- Experience working in an Agile or product-driven environment
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
