Summary
The job is for a Data Analyst at Equip, a virtual eating disorder treatment company. The role involves building data models, visualizing data, participating in QA processes, training users of the BI platform, performing ad-hoc analyses, and collaborating with diverse teams. Requirements
- A bachelorβs degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
- Experience building dashboards, visualizations, and reports using BI tools (Mode, Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, Quicksight, etc.)
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience with statistical scripting / analysis tools (Python, R, etc.)
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, extensible and testable code
- Familiarity with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
- Experience with Git / GitHub
- Experience communicating and collaborating with diverse teams
- Organized and results-driven
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that is subject to rapid change and innovation
Responsibilities
- Building data models and automated reports
- Visualizing & storytelling with data
- Participating in Quality Assurance (QA) and Peer Review processes to ensure data quality
- Training/assisting users of our Business Intelligence (BI) platform
- Performing ad-hoc analyses as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- A masters degree in a health-related field (e.g., public health, social work, nutrition)
- Experience with healthcare data and/or previous experience working in healthtech
- Experience with dbt and AWS services (Glue, Athena)
- Familiarity with A/B testing techniques
- Passion for mental health, eating disorder treatment, and expanding access to treatment
