Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (e.g. Agile)
- Proven track record of successfully managing data and analytics projects end-to-end, with discipled scope and budget management processes
- Strong understanding of data management principles, data modeling, and data analytics techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
- Working knowledge of database management concepts and technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation
Responsibilities
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for data and analytics initiatives
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
- Lead cross-functional teams of full stack data analysts, data engineers, solution architects, data scientists and subject matter experts
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between team members and client stakeholders
- Manage and allocate project resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the project lifecycle
- Implement processes for data validation, cleansing, and transformation
- Oversee the development and implementation of analytical models and reporting solutions
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define analytical requirements and methodologies
- Facilitate the interpretation and communication of data-driven insights to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines, quality, or costs
- Develop and implement contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor project performance and take corrective actions as needed
- Establish effective communication channels with project stakeholders and sponsors
- Provide regular project status updates and progress reports
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals
- Evaluate project performance and identify areas for process optimization
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
Preferred Qualifications
- Participation in the implementation of complex data and analytics solutions for Government or Commercial clients in Pharma, Biotech, CPG, Retail or Manufacturing industries
