Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (e.g. Agile)
• Proven track record of successfully managing data and analytics projects end-to-end, with discipled scope and budget management processes
• Strong understanding of data management principles, data modeling, and data analytics techniques
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
• Working knowledge of database management concepts and technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for data and analytics initiatives
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
• Lead cross-functional teams of full stack data analysts, data engineers, solution architects, data scientists and subject matter experts
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between team members and client stakeholders
• Manage and allocate project resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the project lifecycle
• Implement processes for data validation, cleansing, and transformation
• Oversee the development and implementation of analytical models and reporting solutions
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define analytical requirements and methodologies
• Facilitate the interpretation and communication of data-driven insights to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines, quality, or costs
• Develop and implement contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor project performance and take corrective actions as needed
• Establish effective communication channels with project stakeholders and sponsors
• Provide regular project status updates and progress reports
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals
• Evaluate project performance and identify areas for process optimization
• Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Participation in the implementation of complex data and analytics solutions for Government or Commercial clients in Pharma, Biotech, CPG, Retail or Manufacturing industries
• Strong client and partner networks
