Manager of Data & Analytics

Summary

Join Emergent Staffing as a Manager of Data & Analytics in the southwestern suburbs of Minneapolis, MN! This contract-to-hire position requires a minimum of two in-office days per week and US work authorization. As the first dedicated data leader, you will build scalable data infrastructure, lead analytics initiatives, and deliver impactful insights. This hands-on role involves designing and implementing data pipelines and models, developing a data analytics roadmap, and ensuring data integrity and compliance. You will also communicate insights to stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and support future team growth. This role offers a clear path to broader leadership and a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data and analytics, including work as a lead, architect, or manager in a hands-on capacity
• Strong foundation in data architecture, data modeling, and analytics platforms (cloud-based tools, data warehouses, visualization tools)
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences; comfortable presenting to leadership
• Experience delivering in lean or mid-sized environments with limited resources
• Strong project ownership mindset, from vision to execution
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable data pipelines, models, and analytics solutions—this is a highly hands-on role
• Develop and execute a pragmatic data and analytics roadmap that aligns with business goals
• Own data modeling, warehousing, and system integration, ensuring solutions are maintainable and extensible
• Create and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
• Work cross-functionally with IT, operations, finance, and other departments to embed data into core workflows
• Establish standards for data integrity, security, and compliance
• Support the future hiring and development of a small internal team and help develop relationships with external partners
