Join Mintel as a Data Analytics Manager and lead a team of data analysts and BI developers. Requirements
- Experience managing developments to embed BI tools such as Looker and Sigma into client-facing web applications for SaaS use
- Experience leading a small global team across the US and UK
- Experience working with cross-functional data teams in an agile or scrum environment
Responsibilities
- Build great relationships with business stakeholders, understand overall goals, organize activities to detail requirements and unearth risks and opportunities, and build trust
- Help clarify business goals for data team members, and ensure valuable technical quality and reliability work is well planned and understood by the Product Owner and stakeholders
- Build good relationships with developers on your team, take on line management responsibility for team members, help them grow in their careers and improve their effectiveness
- Facilitate and promote agile / Scrum processes within the team
- Encourage introspection, drive continuous improvement activities within the team
- Help the team develop a sense of ownership of their work and their product, encourage them to improve their development, build and QA practices and advocate for non-functional system improvements
- Get involved in department improvements holistically, through effective 1-1 networking or via best practice conversations with groups of colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
Experience partnering with business stakeholders and helping IT engineering teams improve their effectiveness
