Summary
Join ActivTrak, a dynamic, VC-backed company, as a Data and Reporting Analyst. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making. This remote position within the US requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools. Requirements
- 2 years experience as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Experience with statistical modeling and predictive analytics
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, including databases, CRM systems, and external APIs
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends to stakeholders
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives
- Identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies within data to provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions
- Design and implement data quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of data
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analysis and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R
