Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in data center design
  • Expertise in BIM, Digital Twin solutions, and emerging design trends
  • Proven ability to lead complex design projects from inception to completion
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience representing business interests with government entities, utilities, and suppliers
  • Willingness to travel as needed and balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle data center design projects from concept to construction, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to develop innovative and feasible design solutions
  • Oversee design documentation, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize performance and cost
  • Manage design changes, scope modifications, and stakeholder expectations
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in data center design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional licensure/certifications
  • Experience in the Construction industry as it relates to business processes or project management
  • Experience with construction project management systems (i.e., Primavera Unifier, Microsoft Project, e-Builder, Procore, Newforma, etc.)
