Data Center Site Operations Consultant

Summary

The DC Site Operations Consultant assists customers in optimizing their Data Center physical space and infrastructure. They provide expert consulting, site design assistance, training, site surveys, and oversee installation and commissioning. Their areas of expertise include equipment installation logistics, proper handling of components, airflow and cooling requirements, power requirements, cable management considerations, understanding overall DC design and optimization.

Requirements

• Candidates should be able to function as the subject matter expert in this area of the PS team, interfacing with mechanical engineers in the product team
• Prior experience with DC site operations as well as with customer facing services or support will be a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consulting to customers including site design assistance, proactive site prep., demonstration of best practices, creating training material and delivering training to customers and partners
• Site surveys and oversight of physical installation and commissioning
