Data Conversion Developer

Summary

Reporting to the Data Conversion Manager, you will play a key role in supporting implementation, support, and sales teams. You will lead data conversion development for internal and client projects, work with business analysts on data migration, investigate database structures, and maintain conversion environments and scripts. This role requires experience with Python (ideally with pandas), relational databases, and data conversion/ETL processes. Requirements

• Development experience with Python (ideally with the pandas module)
• Development experience with relational databases
• Experience in data conversion / ETL processes, process scripting and automation
• Understanding of system design & analysis
• A creative approach to problem-solving and learning

Responsibilities

• Lead data conversion development for internal and client projects
• Work with business analysts to plan and manage data migration work items
• Investigate and understand various source database structures
• Prepare and maintain conversion environments and scripts for releases
