Summary

SAVii is a remote-first organization that revolutionizes employee wellness in emerging markets through their salary linked financial wellness services. The Data Engineering team transforms raw data into usable information for business analysts by developing and managing curated datasets, key business metrics, and reporting. The team uses various technologies such as SQL, DBT, Airflow, BigQuery, Redshift, Python, Google Sheets, Meta Base, and Github. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of data proficiency, experience with DBT or Airflow, data warehouse technology, BI visualization tools, scripting languages, and a strong ability to drive insights from data.

Requirements

• 5-8 Years data proficiency of SQL querying and ETL jobs
• Experience with DBT or Airflow
• Experience with data warehouse technology - big query, redshift etc
• Proficiency using Google Sheets, meta base or similar BI visualization tools
• Experience using Python, Airflow, other scripting languages to automate data retrieval, manipulation and analysis
• Curiosity and strong ability to drive insights from data – synthesizing not only what is happening but why it is happening
• Work well in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly-changing environment

Responsibilities

• As a data engineer you will be responsible for developing and managing curated datasets, key business metrics, and reporting
• You will architect and implement data models and ETLs for reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payments, financial data, accounting, or auditing
• Experience in startup environment
• Experience with Google Cloud
