Summary

Trellis Law is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer with at least 7 years of experience to join their Engineering team. The role involves working on backend services, data flows, and analytics in a high-speed, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate has proficiency in Python, Django, AWS, Linux, Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and a strong understanding of Architecture, API Development, Big Data, and Performance Optimization. Startup experience is highly valued. Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience with Backend or Data Engineering
• Python proficiency and working knowledge of Django, AWS and Linux are a must
• Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of Architecture, API Development, Big Data and Performance Optimization
• Have mentored other Engineers in multiple projects
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical work experience

Responsibilities

• Work with existing large scale data sets
• Take ownership of data flow and analytics
• Build a data architecture you are proud to highlight
• Organize data and optimize speed of application performance
• Translate Data requirements into a working application
• Partner with other Engineers on multiple projects and products
• Collaborate with the Product team to understand new features
