Requirements

  • Basic SQL skills
  • Able to interpret trends and patterns
  • Able to analyze and organize raw data
  • Knowledge of OOP languages (e.g. Java, Python)
  • Data Visualization (eg: ChartJs, Google Charts)
  • Basic API integration knowledge
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business needs and objectives
  • Analyze data, identify patterns and possible issues/gaps in data
  • Data validation and quality assurance
  • Combine raw information from different sources
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition
  • Conduct data analysis and report on results
  • Build data pipelines
  • Transform data for analytical tools and machine learning models
  • Document the data structure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design (Snowflake)
  • Great numerical and analytical skills
  • Amazon advertising and seller central experience
  • Technical knowledge of data models, data pipelines and transformation
  • Understanding or usage of data health monitoring tools (eg: BigEye)
  • Experience creating and leveraging data visualization platforms like Looker, Tableau
