Join Contentsquare as an Engineering Manager and lead a team of backend engineers within the data infrastructure unit. Requirements
- Solid experience as a backend or data engineer, ideally in a data-intensive or high-scale environment
- A t least 2 years of experience in engineering management or technical leadership, with a strong focus on team delivery, structure and clear communication
- A pragmatic and structured approach to engineering management, including mentoring, regular 1:1s, goal setting, and fostering a strong sense of ownership
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5 backend engineers (including a Staff Engineer), fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and pragmatic engineering culture (team rituals, career development, recruitment, etc.)
- Use your technical background to support architectural decisions, review technical approaches, and help the team make thoughtful, scalable trade-offs
- Drive the successful and timely delivery of high-impact, large-scale backend/data projects at the core of our platform
- Help the team navigate technical, cultural and organizational challenges across distributed timezones (EU, US, AUS), while maintaining focus and autonomy
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with technologies used in our technical stack such as AWS/Azure, Kafka, Scala, Go, ClickHouse, Singlestore is a plus β but not a requirement
