Join a motivated and growing team! Upfluence is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to build a BI department from scratch, providing actionable insights to the Executive Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Experience (from 2 - 5+ years) working as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or a similar role, with a focus on data analysis, visualization, and reporting
• Strong expertise in using industry-leading BI tools(Looker, Tableau, or similar tools) to develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Proficient in SQL and data querying languages, with a solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with data modeling, data visualization best practices, and data storytelling techniques
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on translating business requirements into data-driven solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python

Responsibilities

• Set up the Data Warehouse, the ETL (data structuring) and the analytics software (Looker or Tableau)
• Set up Data visualization tools and create SQL data
• Set up the pipeline and implement BI tools
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can improve business performance and operational efficiency
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by conducting regular data validation and quality checks
• Work closely with every department of the company running custom analysis and building dashboards to monitor the achievement of their operational KPIs
• Stay updated with emerging trends, techniques, and tools in the BI and analytics field, recommending and implementing improvements to existing BI processes and systems
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, tailoring the communication style to the intended audience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ad-hoc data analysis requests, provide data-driven insights, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes
