Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, data science, computer science) or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in product management, data analysis, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the data lifecycle and data governance principles
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities where data can provide solutions
- Develop a clear vision and roadmap for data products, aligned with overall business objectives
- Translate business needs into user stories and product requirements for the data science and engineering teams
- Prioritize the product backlog and manage the development lifecycle of data products
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of product ideas
- Champion data quality and ensure data products adhere to data governance standards
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of data products
- Analyze usage data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and iterate on data products
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed of progress and driving adoption of data products
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools is a plus
- Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, or other data management technologies (a plus)
