Data Protection Officer

Summary

The job is for a Data Protection and Information Security Officer at Decentralized Masters, a fast-growing DeFi education company. The role involves implementing and overseeing the company's information, cyber, and data security strategy to reduce risks and ensure compliance with applicable data protection requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in computer science, information security, or cybersecurity is highly desirable
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position under a CISO or DPO division, owning data security functions, information security, programming, risk management, and/or cybersecurity. Experience in the fintech or DeFi industry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the company's information, cyber, and data security strategy to reduce risks
• Act as the primary point of contact for all data protection & information security issues within the company
• Ensure that Decentralized Masters processes and maintains the data of employees, customers, and other stakeholders securely and in compliance with applicable data protection requirements
