Summary

Wurl is seeking a Data QA Engineer to join their team. This remote position involves validating data pipelines, designing and implementing testing strategies, and collaborating with the development team to ensure quality and performance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA automation experience, strong scripting skills in Python or similar languages, knowledge of SQL and ETL processes, and understanding of AI concepts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA automation experience, including design and implementation
• Strong scripting skills in Python or similar scripting languages are essential for this role
• Strong knowledge in SQL and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is a key requirement for this position
• Strong understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and machine learning models
• Experience in implementing CI automation techniques
• Knowledge of AWS services
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Git source control
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Wurl’s data integrity monitoring, reproducing, and documenting issues
• Work with the Data and ML development team to design and implement testing strategies
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards
• Analyze test results and collaborate with the development team to isolate and debug issues
• Implement CI automation for the data delivery flows

Preferred Qualifications

• Streaming video delivery experience
• Knowledge of streaming video formats
• Knowledge of Advertising infrastructure
• Familiarity with Snowflake and writing Snowflake queries
