Join European Dynamics as a remote Data Scientist fluent in English. You will collaborate with the Development team and a major client's IT team. Requirements
- Hold a Masterβs degree in IT or relevant domain, combined with 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Have at least 3 years of experience in developing algorithms related to data analysis
- Have at least 3 years of experience in using at least one of the following programming languages (Python, C, C++, R, Java)
- Have at least 3 years of specific experience in applying computer science methods and techniques to solve data-based problems
- Possess experience with software development and large databases/matrices
- Have experience in assisting researchers with data-based solutions, including testing, analysis, documentation, deployment, evaluation, and dissemination of results
- Possess excellent knowledge of MATLAB (including relevant toolboxes), MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Possess excellent knowledge of Java applications development and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- Have excellent command of the English language
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis and data modelling
- Manage existing databases related to alternative fuels charging infrastructure
- Prepare updates of existing databases with new datasets
- Develop and maintain spatial coverage analysis models
- Create, coordinate and review interfaces for data communication between models and frameworks
- Prepare technical, scientific documentation and reports
- Interact with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders, and developers
Preferred Qualifications
- Have knowledge of Oracle (PL/SQL)
- Have experience with integration of web-based user interfaces (e.g., Spring, JSF)
- Have experience with JavaScript development frameworks (e.g., Angular 2)
- Have experience with data integration frameworks (e.g., JPA)
- Have knowledge of econometrics tools/libraries
