Summary

Join Imagine Pediatrics, a tech-enabled medical group providing 24/7 care for children with special healthcare needs, as a Data Scientist. You will leverage data science to improve clinical outcomes, collaborating with stakeholders to translate goals into ML/AI models. Responsibilities include defining requirements, optimizing data collection, building data assets, and delivering insights on business strategy and patient care. You will develop ML models using clinical, claims, and SDoH data to drive actionable recommendations and independently query Snowflake for data analysis and modeling. This role requires 3+ years of experience with Python and SQL, a strong background in study design and research methods, and the ability to present findings to non-technical staff. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience, including proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Strong background in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and research methods
  • Ability to work with and present findings to non-technical staff across the organization
  • Experience working in a start-up or growth environment required; healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience with Snowflake, AWS, and/or Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into robust ML/AI models to improve clinical outcomes for children
  • Work with our Staff Data Scientist and cross functional teams to define requirements, optimize data collection, build data assets, and deliver insights on business strategy and patient care
  • Develop ML models incorporating clinical, claims, and social determinants of health (SDoH) data to drive actionable recommendations
  • Independently query Snowflake and prepare data for exploratory data analysis and modeling
