Summary
Join Specialty1 Partners as a Credentialing Supervisor and oversee provider payor enrollment and facility credentialing across a national network of specialty dental practices. Lead and develop a high-performing credentialing team, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Identify process gaps and implement improvements to streamline workflows. Analyze credentialing metrics, present findings to leadership, and use data to drive strategic initiatives. Develop and roll out SOPs, credentialing projects, and strategic plans. Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and payor-specific requirements. This role offers a path to Credentialing Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in dental credentialing will also be considered
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience specifically in dental credentialing, including provider payor enrollment, credentialing, and privileging processes within the dental industry (required)
- Strong understanding of credentialing software and systems, including CAQH, NPPES, and others
- Demonstrated ability to lead and process improvements, manage credentialing KPIs, and roll out new initiatives effectively
- High attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to balance multiple priorities independently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and over communicator is preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end credentialing process for all dental providers, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Lead, support, and develop a high-performing credentialing team, with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and long-term professional growth
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to streamline workflows and reduce turnaround time
- Own reporting for credentialing metrics, analyze trends, and present findings to leadership; use data to drive decisions and strategic initiatives
- Develop and roll out SOPs, credentialing projects, and strategic plans aligned with department goals and organizational objectives
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, and payor-specific requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans
- Stay current on regulatory changes (e.g., National Practitioner Data Bank, NPPES, CAQH) and ensure processes reflect evolving standards
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Cycle Management, Human Resources, and Compliance to align efforts across departments
- Serve as a proactive communicator, someone who regularly checks in, follows up, and keeps stakeholders informed
