Design Engineer (UI/UX)

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of proven UI/UX design experience in a relevant field
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems efficiently
• Ability to make decisions, set priorities and work independently based on high-level targets of the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
• Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Stay informed about the latest backend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
