Requirements
- Understand problems and empathize with users through regular user research and interviews. Thrive on understanding the psychology behind certain behaviours and turn it into insights
- Deeply understand problems, identify opportunity spaces, and generate creative solutions
- Possess great communication skills and the ability to share knowledge with other members in the team in a meaningful way that adds value
- Have excellent visual design skills with emphasis on simplifying complex UI views, visual hierarchy and features
- Possess skills in evaluating design impact through clear, business-oriented metrics
- Be skilled at creating clear and streamlined user flows
- Work with Engineering and Product to drive forward design decisions, challenge limitations, negotiate with Engineering, adjust schedules, find alternatives, and make cases for designs to be implemented in a certain way
- Have experience generating new opportunities and innovative ideas to improve our processes, products, and culture, influencing design direction and research methodologies
- Speak English
- Be energized by an ever-shifting work environment
- Be highly collaborative (within your team or other stakeholders)
- Be sufficiently experienced to prioritize business-led actions on your day to day activity
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the Design System, providing structure, making sure it has proper processes in place, making sure that it evolves to support delivery and elevate the look and feel of the product
- Own the design documentation, being one of its lead contributors, where you will work closely with other teams (Tech, Brand, Marketing, etc.) to build an exhaustive design system for the entire company
- Be on the look for the best UX/UI practices, benchmarking the global tech ecosystem, aiming towards creating the best experience for Pennylane products
- Evangelise the design system and its benefits to all Pennylane employees, maintaining frequent communication in order to keep high alignment across product and tech teams
- Lead, organise and participate in product workshops, as well as cross-functional team initiatives, so you can tackle complex and rewarding issues
Preferred Qualifications
Have strong Product Design experience, better if it's a BtoB experience
