Summary

Join Sidecar Health's fast-paced Creative Team as a Freelance Designer for a 3–6 month contract! This remote role focuses on creating polished, on-brand assets primarily using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). You will design templates, build presentations for senior leadership, merge Excel data into custom templates, and format documents for consistency. You'll also support broader creative projects using Figma and Postcards. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in design and expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. A flexible mindset and problem-solving attitude are essential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in communication, marketing, or document/presentation design
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience creating templates and branded materials for non-design users
  • Strong visual design skills with a sharp eye for layout, hierarchy, and detail
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Figma, Postcards, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
  • A flexible mindset and problem-solving attitude

Responsibilities

  • Design branded templates and documents in PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook for internal and external use
  • Build presentations for senior leadership across sales, marketing, and investor relations
  • Merge and visualize data from Excel into custom templates
  • Format high-volume documents and emails for consistency, clarity, and accessibility
  • Create assets for lifecycle emails, social posts, and performance ads using Postcards and Figma
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and business stakeholders to ensure brand consistency
  • Deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or Office Specialist Master certification
  • Adobe Certified Professional credentials
  • Training in accessibility best practices (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) for Office documents
