Summary

Join our team as a Desktop Support Technician and provide expert IT support to a government agency or military. Requirements

  • Proven experience providing IT support for a government agency or military
  • Secret clearance or higher

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote desktop support to end-users in a federal agency environment
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware
  • Support Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN connectivity, and common enterprise applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity and information assurance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST)
  • Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate inventory and asset management records
  • Support Active Directory tasks including user account creation, group policies, and permissions
  • Collaborate with IT teams and third-party vendors for escalated support issues
  • Adhere to SLAs and performance metrics as required by government contracts
