Developer Experience Engineer

Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and addressing bottlenecks, standardizing development setups and pipelines, and serving as an internal expert on modern tools like NextJS, Python, and CI/CD practices. Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience improving developer productivity and tooling
• Strong expertise with modern developer tools (Python, NextJS or similar frontend bundlers, CI/CD pipelines)
• Proven success in identifying and solving complex bottlenecks in complex, organically grown codebases
• Structured and proactive mindset capable of designing clear, intuitive, and sustainable workflows from ambiguous requirements

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and addressing bottlenecks in current developer workflows and tools
• Standardizing local development setups, CI/CD pipelines, dependency management, and testing infrastructure
• Be the internal expert on modern tooling, especially NextJS, Python, and CI/CD practices
• Reducing flaky tests
• Establishing a standardized local development environment
• Creating processes for adopting new tools and workflows efficiently
• Optimizing build performance
